Ezy Dose Pet Water Bottle: Hydration Tips for Travel

Quick Answer

The Ezy Dose Collapsible Pet Water Bottle offers a leak-proof, BPA-free way to hydrate your dog during travel. Use these step-by-step tips to make every outing mess-free and convenient.

Hydration Steps for Travel

1. Fill and Seal Before You Go: Fill the bottle with fresh water, then screw the cap on tightly. Check that the spout is closed to prevent leaks in transit. A common mistake is leaving the spout open, which can cause dampness inside your bag.
2. Attach the Clip for Hands-Free Carry: Clip the bottle to your backpack strap, belt loop, or dog leash handle. This keeps the bottle accessible without taking up pocket space. Avoid clipping it to a flimsy loop that might tear under the weight of full water.
3. Offer Water During Breaks: Unclip the bottle, open the spout, and let your pet drink directly from the bottle or pour into a collapsible bowl. Watch for signs of overheating—offer water every 20 to 30 minutes on warm days. A common oversight is waiting until your dog seems thirsty, which can be too late. After each use, rinse the bottle and let it air dry fully before storing to prevent mold buildup.
